Children 'n Us Stroller Organizer Review

So this bag, is definitely my new BFF. Unfortunately, my stroller, is a double stroller, and I couldn't get it to fit it properly, but this is purely fault of my own as my giant stroller is a bit odd in it's construction. The back seat of my stroller connects to the bars, therefor I can not clip the straps of the organizer around them.  This organizer, however, did fit on almost anything I tried.

The construction of this Stroller Organizer surpasses that of many others I have seen. I was in the market for one a couple of years ago, when my girl was a new born, and I just couldn't find one that I thought would work as well as I would have liked. This one though, is made of a strong thick material, and has padding along the bottom and the sides of the bag. There are two adjustable straps with the pinch style clips, which are really easy to unbuckle and snap back closed. I can not gush enough about the quality of the bag, it's really really very well made.

The inside of the bag features 2 mesh cup holder-like pouches on the side, it was perfect for my girls drink, and my water bottle. There is also a zipper on the inside, and PLENTY of room for other items in the center of the bag. The material on the inside, is also very easy to clean up, I spilled a bit of Go-Gurt, in there that dried up and was able to wipe it down when I got home.  I didn't use the zipper on the inside, but in the center of the bag, I placed some baby wipes, my hand wipes, my phone/tablet charger, my tablet, and make up bag. On the outside, there are 2 pockets. One where I placed my cell phone, and another larger one with a Velcro flap where I placed my wallet. Everything fit quite well, and I still had enough room for more.

Pinch Clips and Adjustable Straps.

Overall, I think this is a must have organizer bag, I hate having to carry my purse or a diaper bag, when I'm going to be walking for a long time, so this makes for not having to carry around any extra baggage. I think any mom, or dad (the color is unisex friendly) would be happy to carry this around. This comes highly recommended from a mommy of two tots.

My wallet fits perfectly in the velcro pouch

My cell phone fits in the pouch pretty nicely (it's a Samsung Galaxy S5, for size reference)

Drinks, Wipes, Make up, Charger, and my Tablet (tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab for size reference)

The Children 'n Us stroller organizer can be found on Amazon.com, and sells for $19.99 (free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime) Worth every penny.

Blue Xtava Hair Curler Review

For someone like me, trying to to style my super long, super straight hair, proves quite difficult, EVERY day. My hair is really fine, and hard to manage, so I have ONE style. Long, flat, straight.

I'm always on the hunt for something that will help me try new styles on myself. I want change, I want something fun, but that's hard to come by. When I received this product, I was super excited to try it out. I wanted so bad to have a new style, and was hoping this would be the prefect product for me.

The curling iron heats up pretty quickly, and the plastic spiral and plastic tip prevent you from burning yourself. There is only one button, an on/off switch, so there is no temperature setting at all. Whatever it heats to, that's what you get. The curling iron itself only curls about 6 inches high of your hair, so for someone with hair as long as mine, it actually wasn't much of a great look, but as soon as I cut it, I'm sure it'll look a whole lot better, and I will update this review.  I had a lot of trouble with my hair getting stuck in the hair clip though, and it resulted in strands of hair being pulled out. Gave for a bit of a painful curl, but I must say, that the curls were SUPER nice. They curl very spirally, and very quickly. So with time and patience, this would work wonders for others.  I'm not one to put much products in my hair, Shampoo, Conditioner, and some Argan oil, and that's about it. I can't say very well, how well it would hold with hair gel, or mousse, but without it, the curls took quite well.

All in all, I liked the curler very much, but for someone with long hair like me, it did prove to be a bit time consuming to curl, because of the blue spiral guides, as much as I appreciate what they're there for, I do believe they are in the way. It was also a bit difficult, because I have uneven hair, so I couldn't get it to stay in place to curl through the guides. This curler would be perfect with someone with short to mid-length hair, that isn't too thick. The thicker your hair the harder it will be to curl. BUT, I can't deny how well it curls. It works really well.

A bit difficult to get all the uneven hair, but still worked well.

More of the uneven hair

Worked very well without hair products.

So if you're that person with the pretty, short to mid-length hair, that isn't uneven. Then this would be GREAT for you. It retails on Amazon.com for $19.99 very inexpensive for what it does. It comes in 3 colors, Pink, Orange, and Blue like the one pictured. Just take a look, and I'm sure you will find that it's as neat as it looks.

+Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger Review

I have a huge obsession with taking photos, I carry a small camera, a large camera, and my trusty cell phone, the latter of which I tend to use the most, as it's smaller, lighter, handier, and quicker to access, when I need to take a quick shot of something I see. I tend to drain my battery so quickly, and I'm often left trying to locate an outlet. This can prove rather difficult if I'm not indoors.

I was sent the +Lifeguard battery a couple of weeks ago in a beautiful metallic hot pink color. The charger comes packaged in a smooth cardboard box, and comes complete with 2 cords, one, that can charge iphone 5 and higher, and one that will charge Samsung/Android Devices. The cord that charges the Android devices, is technically what charges the battery bank. So it does double its duty.

The +Lifeguard Mini is about the size of a roll of quarters, it's a bit larger than a lipstick, but is the perfect size to slip in your pocket, or purse. It's not heavy at all, it's got some weight, but nothing you can't handle. It's super convenient and easy to use. Charge it up (FULLY) plug in your device, and wait for it to charge.  Charging your phone doesn't take too long either, maybe 45 minutes to an hour, and you're fully charged.

Samsung Galaxy S5

 Samsung Galaxy Tab

A couple of cons though, in regards to the charger, were that the light indicator only shows when your portable battery is being charged, and when you are charging your phone or tablet. I also found that it will only charge small devices. It did charge my my Samsung Galaxy s5, and my Samsung Galaxy Tab. It did not however, charge my iPad 2. I do not think it is powerful enough for a device that large, but that's ok, because I usually do not take my iPad with me. I just thought I'd give it a try.

Attempting to charge my iPad.

Another thing I did notice, is that the portable battery does take a while to charge, about 4-5 hours when plugged into a wall, and 10-12 hours when charging through a laptop or computer. It's quite a lot of time to charge something, so I'll only charge it overnight and take it with me. This device is only capable of charging one device at at time, before needing to be recharged itself. So once you charge your phone you do need to be sure to plug it in again, to use another time.

Overall, this charger is pretty neat. I do wish it indicated more when it was dying, or needing to be recharged, it's hard to gauge when it's needing to be plugged back in.  I think this portable charger is going to come in handy, when I need an extra boost of energy on my phone.

It's beautiful, it's sleek, it's very neatly designed. It charges my phone and small tablet completely, once per charge, which is perfect for someone like me who loves taking lots of pictures of my nieces, and nephews, and who LOVES attending a concert here and there.

If you're looking for something to get you through your next charge, then this is the device for you. It retails on Amazon, for $24.97 and comes in 3 colors, Black, Silver, and Pink. And for what it does, it's definitely worth the price.

Kishi Premium Ceramic (3') Paring Knife

I'm going to be completely honest here, prior to being sent this product, I had NEVER heard of Ceramic Knives.  I was sent this product free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion, and I'm happy to say that my opinion is a very positive one.

(Photo Cred: Amazon.com for Kishi Ceramic Paring Knives)

The knife arrived safely in a large shipping box, with proper filler paper, to keep from damaging the contents. The knife comes in a small smooth cardboard box, and is layed in a plastic carriage. The tip of the knife is covered with a plastic tip, for your protection. Everything is all very well thought out.

The knife is very well built, very sturdy, and best of all, VERY sharp. I was able to cut through all vegetables I used for my chicken and vegetable soup with ease, and a lot quicker than I would have, had I used a regular stainless steel knife (which is what I usually use.) This knife is quite sharp, so I was afraid that if it slipped, I might cut myself, but the orange rubber handle on the knife made for a very strong grip, which didn't allow my hands to slip.  Can't forget to mention that I can be a bit careless at times, so a good firm rubber grip is something I need to look for more in my kitchen utensils.

A huge issue I have with most knives is how grimey, dull and  rusting they can be, even on my "stainless steel" knives. But this one being as it's ceramic, ensures that it will never rust. On top of these benefits, the knife is also safe from cross-contamination, which keeps you and your family safe and healthy. Clean up is such a breeze with this one, there isn't any left over residue from the dishwasher, or from stuck on food. The knife retains it's color beautifully, and doesn't dull.

There are just too many great things about this knife to not purchase it. The Kishi Ceramic Paring Knife is the best by far, that I have ever used, and at a price of under $12.00, you definitely come out winning with this one. I would highly recommened anyone looking for a good kitchen paring knife, to give this one some serious consideration. It would make a great addition to anyones kitchen. You will not regret this purchase.

You can find this product listed on Amazon.com at the very low price of $11.49. I would not be surprised if this product sells out, because it works that well. Get yours today!!!

Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer by Foxbrim #2 Review.

I have been on the hunt for a great moisturizer for my face for a while now. Since about Mid-September actually, which is around the time my face starts showing visible signs of dryness, which in turn starts showing my age a bit more. I was sent a bottle of Foxbrim Complete Ant-Aging Moisturizer, a couple of weeks ago, and have been using it religiously, after every shower, and after every time I wash my face.

According to their website the ingredients found in this Anti-Aging Moisturizer are as follows, Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera), Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Oil), Isopropyl Palmitate (Palm Oil), Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), CassiaAngustifolia Seed Polysaccharide, Glyceryl Stearate,Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Wildcrafted Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Wildcrafted Resina Propoli (Propolis), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid.

Foxbrim prides itself in providing All-Natural ingredients, and using as few of them as possible, resulting in a light weight, and extremely effective product.  When I began using this product, I had a lot of dryness in the T-Zone area, as well as on the bottom of the right side of my chin. Upon applying Foxbrim Anti-Aging Moisturizer, I was felt a sense of tightness in my skin, which made me believe that the Anti-Aging Products in this moisturizer were working. My skin doesn't feel as saggy as it did before, and though my T-Zone hasn't been clear of all of it's dryness, it has minimized it, and completely removed the patch of dry skin on my chin. I believe the benefits this moisturizer claims to provide are true. In the weeks that I have been using it, I have seen some of the benefits come to light on my skin.

I apply a sufficient amount of cream on the back of my hand, and with my index, and middle finger, I apply it to my face, and neck after every shower, and in the mornings after washing my face. I know that the weather has played a factor in drying my skin so much, so I'm hoping that this is all I'll need to get me through the winter. So far, though, so good. I'm completely confident in the product and I would recommened that anyone, even those with sensitive skin, try it out.

Foxbrim, from what I've heard, has a nice range of product that have proven, for others, to work quite well. This company may be new, but they are on the right track to providing some of the best products on the market. I am confident, that the future for this company will be bright, and look forward to seeing what other products they bring to the market. Your purchase is 100% Guaranteed, to satisfy, or your money back. Visit them on Amazon, to place your order today. Foxbrims Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer retails for 16.99, and is worth every penny.

Kidzlane Dinosaur T-Rex Room Guard with Motion Sensor Review

I was over the moon excited, when I was chosen to Review the Kidzlane Dinosaur T-Rex Room Guard with Motion Sensor. I know Dinosaurs are mostly associated with boys, BUT my girl LOVES Dinosaurs, and has impressed me greatly with her vast knowledge of these ancient animals.

When I recieved the package, just a day and a half after ordering, I asked my girl to open the package for me. She had no idea what was in there. When she saw the dinosaur, and saw that it was a projector she nearly broke a window with her scream of excitement.

I was a bit worried though, as I had never heard of the brand, and thought that it might be poorly made, or not work as well as me and my Ali would want it to. But I was truly in for a surprise once we got the box open.

Back of Box

This Dinosaur Motion Sensor Projector by far exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting it to be as well built, and as sturdy as it was. My girl and I opened the box with this dinosaur and were super excited to get it going. We waited for my hubby to go buy us batteries, they are not included, (3 AA.) Everything was packaged neatly, and separately, this is something I always look for when I purchase new products. Nice and neat packaging makes me highly consider purchasing from the same companies. Oh, and can't forget to mention the nice dinosaur sticker that came in the box too.
View when you open the box

I really wanted to keep the decal, The kiddo wouldn't let me

I was so happy to find that there was absolutely no assembly required, Unscrew the battery chamber, slide in your batteries, and the T-Rex starts roaring. All 3 slides that come with the Dino have a nice little storage section on the dinosaurs back so you don't misplace them. Again, all these little details, were making my impression of the Dinosaur get better and better. In the box is also a sheet which names all the Dinosaurs that you see on the slides, very handy.

The projector is bright, it can double as a flash light if necessary. The slides were very nice too, LOTS of pictures to look at. They're not cheap paper slides either, they're the same hard plastic that the body of the dinosaur is, quite thick, and sturdy. The projection was used in low light, not very dark, and it still worked nicely. We liked that you can bring the slides in and out of focus, by moving the dinosaurs right arm. Neat little detail. The entire Dinosaur is very hard plastic, very sturdy, and strong. I do not see this Dinosaur having any damage done to it anytime soon, the details on it are beautiful, it's very well constructed.

She was hiding from the littles.

The compartment where you store your slides.

The motion sensor on the T-Rex makes for a nice little feature, in all honesty the projector in my family was the most impressive. The sensor only works when a room is lit, it is activated when someone or something casts a shadow on it, the little ones in the family loved the roaring, and LOVED running up to it, to get it going. But as for my older one, the one who ended up keeping it, she was absolutely in love with the projector. She gaves us all lessons on dinosaurs.

My overall impression of the Dinosaur was very positive. As was my daughters. She absolutely loved it. That's proof that dinosaurs are not only for boys. Girls like them too. I would highly recommend purchasing for your Dinosaur enthusiast. It's a beautiful toy,  and will satisfy any boy or girl, this holiday season and always.

I asked my daughter if there was anything wrong with the dinosaur, and she couldn't think of one. That's saying a lot, because she can nit-pick as well as the next kid. But she saw no flaws, and quite honestly I didn't see any either.

The only thing I'm hoping for, is that one day, this company will offer a new set of slides, and that it's something they continue to sell, for years to come. This is a toy that will be handed down from kid to kid. Something I trust will stand the test of time.

My husband has it on our Christmas List for our 9 year old nephew. We will be purchasing a second Dinosaur before the holiday.

The following are all photos I took of all sides of the T-Rex Projector. ENJOY!

Girls LOVE Dinosaurs too.
