Covergirl Products featured in Influensters I Do VoxBox

As I mentioned before, I was so fortunate to receive the I Do VoxBox Courtesy of Influenster. I received some amazing products, and among those were 2 awesome Covergirl makeup items. 

First was the Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation, a foundation that I found to work very well on my skin. The formula was a bit runny, but it applied nicely on my skin. I used my beauty blender, rather than a makeup brush, to apply it and it worked best. The foundation has beautiful golden flecks in it, that iluminate your face, especially out in the sun. It give a beautiful noticeable glow, that even my husband noticed. I would rate this a 9 out of 10, and would recommend it to anyone who is stuck in the horrid summer heat like I am down here in South Texas. This product is available wherever Covergirl is sold. It retails for about $10. 

The second Covergirl item I received was the Covergirl Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick in number 935, color: Into the Fuchsia. Oh my goodness, I LOVE this color. It's bright, it's bold, and it's so much fun. I love that I can dab it on lightly for a day look, or slap it on bold for a statement making evening look. I do recommend carrying this product around with you, to reapply, because it does need some touching up. It's available anywhere Covergirl is sold, and retails for about $7.00.

Little Cosmetics Pretend Makeup Review + Giveaway

I have the cutest niece ever. She's sweet, she's spunky, and she's the girliest of all girls, I've ever met. From tutu's and high heels, to purses, and sunglasses. She loves all things girly. Her favorite of all though, is makeup. Her favorite of course has always been the expensive items her mom has in her vanity. Often times my niece would walk out after sneaking some makeup looking like a cute little clown. The mess she'd make, and the difficulty it was to remove the lipstick from her cheeks and foundation from her lips has always been the worst part. We've tried kid makeup, but it's just as messy, and comes in packaging so cheap, that it was just never worth it.

When I was given the opportunity to review the Little Cosmetics Pretend Makeup, I was so excited to to give it to Alexandra. I knew she'd be just as excited to receive it, as I was to give it to her. As soon as she opened her package, she was thrilled to see the pretty colors. Her favorite was the face powder with the shatterproof mirror, because it looked almost identical to the one she'd swipe from he mom's purse from time to time. 

Every piece in her set was just beautiful, and as well crafted as the next. We were all extremely impressed. The Little Cosmetics Makeup set, is high quality pretend makeup. It looks and feels realistic, and does not apply to skin, nor does it stain. The material it is made of feels just like real makeup, and the packaging looks just like mommies too. This set of makeup inspires creativity for kids of all ages, without the need to clean up a huge mess.

Included in this set was a Cosmetic Bag, a shatterproof mirror, glitter pot, blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, and real makeup brushes. Perfect for my Little Cosmetics Cutie to keep herself entertained for a long time.

Xtava 7 Piece Makeup Brush Set Review.

I'm no make up professional. I try my best to apply my make up as best I can, and love trying new products to achieve looks I see online. Again, I'm a newbie at this, but one thing I do know, is when I find a great product that helps me achieve a look I'm wanting

Xtava is the name of a brand that is definitely up and coming in the beauty world. From hair products, to make up products, their affordable, but high quality products are surely going to make their mark in the beauty world real soon.

My first method of make up application begins with eyeshadow. I apply my Urban Decay Primer potion, and use a mix of 4 different palettes for my eye shadow look. From low to high price wise, the palettes I use are BH Cosmetics, Sleek Cosmetics, The Balm, and Urban Decay. All three palettes regardless of their price apply to my eye lids so beautifully using the eye shadow brushes provided in this set. 

After applying my eye make up, I go in with my concealer, and foundation. The two brushes I used for this, were absolutely fantastic in blending out the products. My concealer is from Maybelline, and my foundation is Mac Studio Fix. I also apply my face powder which is also from Mac, and the application is just flawless.

Lastly, is my blush and lipstick. I was quite impressed with the style of the lip brush. I had never seen a brush that you pulled apart and turned to stick back together, revealing the brush tip. After use, you pull it apart again, and turn it back to close it. It's such a wonderful idea, that more companies need to do with their products, to help keep your brushes protected.

Speaking of protecting your brushes, the case that the Xtava make up brush set comes in, is one of the prettiest ones I've ever owned. The construction of the case is a high end, double button clutch like case, which features a small zipper on the inside. The zipper pouch is small, but will hold your lip and eye pencils for sure.

This entire set is extremely beautiful. I would recommend it to any makeup artist, or people like me, who just love to play with make up. Beauty Lashious Eyelash Curler

I've owned plenty of Eyelash Curlers. I have never been completely satisfied with any of them, as they've always been the kind that tug on my lashes, pinch my eye lids, and even tear out eye lashes at times. PAINFUL, but I always thought this was just a sacrifice I made to have curled, longer looking lashes. 

I was selected to review the Beauty Lashious Eyelash Curler, for free, in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to receive it, and put it to use right away. I loved that this curler was so springy, so much so, that it comes with a handle-clip, to keep the handles from springing open at all times. The two handles on the eyelash curler, aren't your traditional O shaped circles where you slide your fingers in, they are two separate handles, that fit the shape of your fingers nicely, making it easy to squeeze the curler around your lashes. 

As soon as I put the curler up to my lid, I was instantly surprised with the width of the metal that flushes against your lid, it's wide enough to cover the entire lash line, and allows for even the smallest, and the furthest lashes to slide into the curler. This allows for a thicker, lusher, fuller lashes, from root to tip. 

The springy curler, makes it easy to figure out just how much squeeze you want to give your eyelash curler, allowing you squeeze as tight or as loose as you'd like on your lashes. 

I can not stress just how impressed I was with this Eyelash Curler. It's absolutely worth purchasing to give it a try. I use it everyday, and have not experienced any pinching which completely wins me over when I compare it to the other curlers I have owned, and currently own.
