Reach it Grab it Reacher Grabber Pick Stick Review

I've gone all my life, over extending, over reaching, tip-toeing, and grabbing step stools to help me reach the places my height so cruelly keeps me from reaching. I was asked to test the Reacher Grabber Tool, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review. Upon receiving this product I immediately put it to use. I was quite impressed with it's high grade aluminum construction. This automatically told me, that it would be long lasting, and rust free. The trigger features a rubber grip, which makes it easy to pull and hold, allowing you to grab any products effortlessly. The same could also be said for the rubber on the non-slip jaws, which make it easy to keep a hold on whatever it is you're grabbing. This is all very well thought out.

I live in an apartment, so the generic shelves in this place are extremely awkwardly placed. They're so high, that I can not even reach the second shelf without the need to tip toe. I wanted to test out the strength, and ease of use with this Reach It Grab It tool, and started with the shelves on top. For one, I was able to use it to open the pointless shelves on top of my refrigerator, that NO ONE can use because of their ridiculous height. 

Now if only I could store stuff in there.

I proceeded to check what it was I could and couldn't lift. Obviously, heavier items were more difficult to keep a grasp on, as were the bulkier items, because of how wide the jaws are. I honestly, can not express how much easier your life will be after purchasing this product. For shorter people, for people who need an extra extension, for those who are just lazy (like me) and for those with disabilities, this would definitely come in handy. From picking up a remote you dropped, to picking up trash. This thing helps out A LOT. I'm so happy to have this in my life, as I can not even begin to think of  how I got through every day chores without one.

Now, I know you can get similar products for a lesser price, but I can assure you, that you will not find one that functions as well as this. YALMEH Foundation Brush Review

I'll be perfectly honest here, I've only used one other foundation brush prior to using the YALMEH foundation brush. The other brush I used was pretty rough on my skin and always left bristle streaks on my face. Needless to say I stopped using that brush and switched back to Walmart make up sponges, before trying out a Beauty Blender. Now, the beauty blender was always my go to product for make up application. After my negative results with my other foundation brush, I just never saw me using anything other than the beauty blender, or products like it.

I was chosen to review the YALMEH foundation brush a few weeks ago, and couldn't have been more excited to try it. In exchange for the free foundation brush, I was asked to leave a review in return. I'm happy to say that my review of the product is completely positive.

Upon receiving the brush, I immediately ran my fingers through the bristles to feel how rough (or soft) they were. I was already skeptical because of my previous experience, so I had very low expectations for this one. I was surprised with how soft it was though, and defiinitely could not wait to test it out.

I first tried it out with my MAC Studio Fix Foundation. I decided to go with a heavier foundation to see if the streaks would appear on my face. I hoped that they wouldn't because of how soft the bristles felt to the touch, and I was so right. A few strokes of the brush across my face, and all signs of any lines were gone.

I next tried using the brush on a lighter foundation. Well, not exactly a foundation, but a super lightweight Tinted Moisturizer. The Jouer Matte Moisture Tint is usually my foundation of preference, especially during the hotter South Texas summer months. I was hoping that with how lightweight this moisturizer was, that it wouldn't leave the dreaded streaks. I was so glad to see that again, there were absolutely no signs of streaks on my face. The application, as with my heavier MAC foundation, was pretty flawless. Just a few strokes and very little added pressure and the foundation was completely set. 

I do believe that the top grade synthetic fibers make for a smooth, even application. The brush is long lasting, and easy to clean up. It is also hypoallergenic,cruelty free, and vegan friendly. I loved the wood handle, and the size it was. It was easy to hold, didn't slip out of my  hands, and didn't feel chunky when I held it.

If you're looking for a high end foundation brush with out the high end price tag, then I would definitely recommend you looking into the YALMEH foundation brush. It retails for $11.95 on Amazon.com and ships free with Amazon Prime. AMAZING deal for such a great product. I have since ditched my beauty blender, and replaced it with this brush. I'll bet you'd do the same if you gave it a try.

French Green Clay Konjac Sponge Review

In my quest to find a great Konjac Sponge for the purpose of face washing, I came accross the Oleavine Brand, who has a line of 3 different sponges. French Green Clay, Activated Charcoal, and French Red Clay. I was asked to review the French Green Clay Konjac Sponge for free, in exchange for my honest review.

I was excited to start using this, and opened it right away to wash my face. I loved the way it felt out of the package, tough and hard, and I loved that it was the perfect size for my hand. I used it immediately in the shower without any face wash, or face scrub. The package says that it isn't necessary to use a face cleaner, but it's entirely up to the user to decide on what works best for you.

The sponge is 100% eco-friendly, and biodegradable, it has a small string to that allows you to hang your sponge and let drip dry. It has a nice tear drop shaped, which makes it easy to get around your entire face. The smaller ends of the tear dropped shaped sponge allow you to wash around your eyes comfortably.

I found that the sponge after being wet was entirely too soft for my skin. I prefer more exfoliation, and more of a rougher scrub. I do believe that for people with more sensitive skin, such as my little sister, a product like this would work wonderfully. If you are someone with that sort of skin, then this would be perfect for you. The Konjac Sponge retails on Amazon.com for $10.00, and ships free with Amazon Prime. I recommend anyone looking for a gentle cleanse to look into this eco-friendly sponge for your beauty needs. The Oleavine Brand is something I will definitely be keeping up wiht to see if a tougher sponge is ever put on the market, because the brand itself is amazing quality.

Digital Crayon Stlyus Review

I have 3 very small nieces, Ages 2, 3, and 4, and one older niece who is 11. My nieces and I are so very close, and I try to do anything and everything to make them happy. I was hoping to review this Digital Crayon Stylus, and was happy when I was chosen to be sent this product for free, and give my honest opinion on it. I was so excited when I saw the name on the stylus. "Painting Lulu." My youngest niece Lucy, is nicknamed Lulu. So it was very fitting.

On to the Stylus. The Digital Crayon has a QR code on the package, which you can scan with your mobile device, to receive their digital coloring book app. Now, I couldn't figure out how to download it to my iPad, so I never had the chance to do so. It did however send me to the website, where I was able to get my older niece to color with the stylus. 

We did find that the coloring pages of the app, were a bit difficult to click through, and the cookie mascot often got stuck in the center of the page, and we couldn't get rid of it, unless we exited out of the browser and relaunched the page by using the QR code scan. I'm sure you can anchor the webpage to your favorites tab on your mobile device to avoid having to scan the package over and over again, I just wish I would have been able to figure out how to download it to keep handy on my iPad. 

The stylus, is very sturdy, it almost feels like a solid eraser. The tip however was a bit too weak for my liking. There were a couple of incidences where my niece pressed down too hard on the iPad to try to get the page to respond, and the tip was lodged in a concave manner into the stylus. I had to actually put my lips around the tip to suck it back out. I have had this problem with plenty of other styluses, so I know it's just a flaw in all digital accessories such as this one. 

The stylus is definitely a very cute, very neat concept. It keeps the little ones from marking on the walls like they have with real crayons, and it keeps them busy. My youngest niece has managed to tear a piece of the tip off, so I haven't allowed her to play with it again.

This is absolutely kid friendly, and would really appeal to any young child. If you're looking for a stylus for a child, you should get this one. There's no point in purchasing a basic black tipped one, when your child can have a cute colorful one like this. BakeItFun Baking Mat Review

I received my free baking mat a few days ago, from BakeItFun. I was asked to leave an unbiased review in exchange for trying this product for free, and I couldn't be more excited to participate. I love baking and cooking up treats for my family. I immediately put the mat to use, with my niece who also enjoys baking. We made some chocolate chip cookies, and found that it was SO easy to bake them on our BakeItFun Baking mat. 

The Mat is made of Professional BPA Free, FDA Safe Silicone. It is oven, microwave, freezer, AND dishwasher safe. It can be reused up to 2000 times. It has rulers to help measure your food placement, and circles to guide you in placing your food perfectly. You can save so much money with your single purchase by eliminating parchment paper, and it can definitely be considered a green product, for the amount of times you can reuse it. Too many benefits come along with this baking mat, that make this purchase well worth it.

The BakeItFun Mat only requires one step before using. You are asked to spray it with cooking spray before your first use. According to the box, you only need to do this one time, unless you are sticking it in the dishwasher, in that case you will need to spray again. I prefer hand washing it anyway, so doing this one time is not at all a big deal. After spraying, my niece and I went quickly to work, separating the dough, and making ball shapes to start baking.

We placed the cookies on the pan and stuck them in the oven. The size we selected for our cookies were a bit too large for the circle guides already on the mat, but what does that matter, right? The cookies baked evenly and perfectly.

12 minutes later, our cookies were ready to come out of the oven. We let them sit for a few minutes before removing them from the mat, and checking to see if they'd stick or not.

After the cooling process,we began to remove them, and they just slid right off. It was as if the pan was a sheet of butter. I could not have been more impressed with this mat. I own another baking mat, it's a plain black sheet, and I've always had problems with the ends of my cookies staying stuck to the mat. I was expecting the same thing to happen with this one, but it didn't. The cookies even at their softest slid right off. 

As expected, everyone loved mine and my nieces cookies. They were a huge hit, and it couldn't have happened without the use of my NOW favorite baking mat. Smart Weigh Digital Pro Pocket Scale Review

My intentions for wanting a small pocket scale have never been for food purposes, although this specific pocket scale came at a great time for me to try with food.

I received the Smart Weigh Digital Pro Pocket Scale for free in exchange for an honest review. I was very excited to receive it, as my niece and I were going to be baking cookies for the family, and wanted to measure them out as perfectly as possible. doing so is nearly impossible without a scale, so this one was going to be perfect.

The scale is pretty small. It takes up hardly any room. It measures 5x4 inches, and weighs about 8 ounces. The scales is made of mostly plastic and has a stainless steel platform. It feels pretty sturdy for being such a small scale. So I'm pretty excited to get the most out of this gadget.

The cookies my niece and I were able to make came out very uniform in size and weight. The scale is pretty accurate as far as I can tell, I was able to move it around without worrying about it being to heavy, or too flimsy to move around, it was very sturdy. Cookie after cookie, I was able to to get an accurate weight, and pick and add dough to make them all weigh the same. SUPER easy.

Clean up  of the scales platform was a breeze, I used a Clorox wipe to disinfect, and get all the dough residue off. This gadget is really easy to store, and comes with two plastic covers to keep it safe wherever you place it.

The main reason I wanted a pocket scale was because I wanted to measure out polymer clay orders. I work with polymer clay to create items for crafters, and having to guess how much a package weighs always cuts into my profits. With a pocket scale like this one, I will now be able to weigh, my packages, and more accurately charge my customers for their order. I'm super excited to get this going after the holidays pass.

If you're someone on a diet, who has to weigh out their food, someone in the craft business that has to weigh out their supplies, or just someone cooking at home, then having a small sturdy, and accurate scale is something you need.
