There isn't much I can say about a knife sharpener, in regards to what it does, and how it does it. It's simple. Run your knives ragged, dull them out, toss them out, OR, get yourself an awesome Knife Sharpener like the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener.

I had been in the market for a great sharpener, because my husband was getting tired of using the one we had which was less than a year old. It never really worked, so our knives were on the verge of being replaced themselves. Knife sets are expensive, at least good quality knives are, so we had been putting off the splurge just because we didn't want to shell out so much, AGAIN. 

When I was given the opportunity to review this product, I wasn't expecting it to do much. My package arrived right before I was going to make dinner. Perfect timing. I asked my husband to try it out, before I started the dreaded task of cutting up raw chicken. He doesn't like me sharpening knives myself, because he "thinks" I'm a klutz. I'm careful, I really am, but I love that he takes care of me.

My husband opened up the box, and tried it out right away. It's lightweight construction, was a bit off putting, but that feeling was short lived once he saw how well built the sharpener is. It's very sturdy, and the materials are worthy of our pricey knives. I had lost all hope for my concave birds beak knives, they were trash in my eyes. That is until my husband started sharpening half the knives in our drawer. I was finally able to use my birds beak knife again, and couldn't have been more happy, as it's the best one for me to cut raw chicken with.

Over all, this product is absolutely one of the best on the market, can't forget to mention how inexpensive it is. The construction and the quality are top notch, and more than worth the price it's listed for.

My hubby and I are coffee addicts. I recently turned him on to coffee, after I suggested to him, that he should drink some on the days he was having to wake up at 3 and 4 am. He's now hooked to his morning cup of Joe, so much so, that he knows about many different brewing methods. One method he always talked about was using a French Press to make your coffee. I was a bit intimidated by the what I thought were lengthy steps, but come to find out, it was quick and simple to use, and my coffee tasted amazing. I loved that my coffee tasted a bit stronger than my regular brewing method. (Reusable K-cup in my Keurig.) Your ability to change the strength of your coffee is what I loved the most. I love a strong brewed cup, a medium to dark roast. A bit sweet and creamy, and the French Press helped me achieve it quick and easily.

#XOVOXBOX Review from Influenster

It's always a wonderful feeling, to be selected to review products for wonderful companies, such as Influenster. Influenster works with various brands to bring products to consumers free for testing purposes, in exchange for honest reviews. When I found out, I was going to be review the contents of their XOVoxBox, I could not have been more excited. I stalked my tracking emails, like no other. Once I found out what the contents of the XOVoxBox were, I just couldn't wait to get my hands on them.

The first item I was to review came in the form of an email. I was to sign up at the Adore Me website. Adoreme.com is a subscription like service, which is geared towards women looking to purchase lingerie, and intimate items. I was given a code to purchase my free set from the website. Luckily for me they have a plus size section, which isn't as large a section as the regular items, but is still available. I placed my free order, after signing up for VIP membership. Wonderful perks for those looking to purchase lingerie, pajamas, underwear, and even swimsuits.

My Influenster XOVoxBox finally arrived. inside were a few cards giving the details of the contents in the box. I received a Lands End discount code, (VOXLOVE) which you can use to take $25 off a $100 order. SWEET DEAL! Another card I found was for Ebay. I was to write up two ebay guides, and submit them in order to receive a $25 gift card to Ebay. One of my guides has been approved, I'm still waiting to hear the status of the other, even though it's been over a month since I submitted it.

Now for the products I received in my XoVoxBox.

The first product was a sample size of Skinfix Hand Repair Cream. This stuff is simply amazing. After two days of use, the visible signs of cracking on my skin, from the dry winter weather were becoming less noticeable. Today, I have ZERO cracks, and do not have dry skin on my hands either. The 2.0 tube retails on Target.com for $17.99.

The next set of items were from the John Freida Beach Blonde Collection. A gorgeous set of travel sized shampoo, conditioner, sea salt spray, and the 7 Day Volume in shower treament were included. Now, I do not have blonde hair, but I do have the beach. And let me tell you, the salt in the air is evident even miles and miles away. I love living on the gulf coast, and with products geared towards hair issues I may face this summer, I am happy to sample. Each product retails on Target.com for $8.99. After using them, I can not tell you how happy I am, that they're available. Blonde or not, this is perfect for my long black locks anyway.

Colgate products were also included in the XOVoxBox. The Colgate Optic White Tooth Brush with Built-in Teeth Whitening Pen, was such an amazing product to get to test out. I wasn't too crazy about the actual tooth brush, but the fact that the whitening pen slides into the base of the toothbrush, doubling as the handle, is nothing short of genius. The Colgate Optic White Toothpaste was rough to stomach at first, but I've since gotten used to the taste. My teeth are noticeably whiter, and feel cleaner, longer, throughout the day. The Toothbrush with Whitening pen retails on Target.com for $12.99 and the toothpaste retails for $4.99.

The final, and my favorite product was the Tide Pods with Febreze. These are by far the best Pods I've ever used in my laundry. I have yet to find them in stores, but know that the size of the bag I received retails for around $5.00. I just hope that they hit the market soon, as I'm running low on the free ones I received, and want to replace them before I have to buy a different product. The scent of the Tide with Febreze on my clothes lingers throughout the day. This is a first for pods in my experience, and this is why I want to continue using them. They're fantastic, and so convenient, and I'm so glad I had the chance to try them out.

I can't tell you how excited I was to be selected to review the contents of Influensters 2015 XOVoxBox. I couldn't wait to hear about the contents, and what I would be testing out. Little did I know that, one of the products and services I'd be testing out was some lingerie from Adoreme.com.

Beabies Teether Necklace and Bracelet Review 2

There really aren't too many words I can use to describe what joy this product has brought to my niece. I've mentioned her many times before. My Scarlett Rose, My Angel, My 4 year old sweet baby girl, who's differently abled. A person with Down Sydrome loves like no other, they're all sunshine during the day, and every bit of beautiful starshine at night.

My niece, is a chewer, as I mentioned before too. She mostly chews threw her clothing, especially long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, and the necks of her shirts as well. We've purchased teething necklaces in the past, but none have stood the test of time, nor have they passed the Scarlett-Test, like this one has. 

The design on this necklace, and bracelet is top of the line. The fact that there are no knots between the beads, because they're placed right next to each other means, they don't slide over the knots, and get displaced along the string. With other necklaces, I've had beads slide up and down the string, leaving them spaced oddly, or too close together, ruining the look and design of the necklace. 

This necklace and bracelet set is high, food grade silicone, which is BPA free, and free of any toxins. It's safe for your child to chew on, and very fashionable for mommy, or Auntie like me. I love how easy these necklaces are to clean. You can wash them by hand with warm water, and soap, and let them dry, or even stick them in the dishwasher. TOO convenient, too pretty, definitely high quality. 

The bracelet has all the same perks as the necklace, but it is really large. Not only for my niece, but for me or my sister as well. It's probably about 3 beads too big for an adult, and the beads are pretty big. I'm not sure how I can fix this, but I'd love to resize it, so that I can wear it, or my sister can wear it. It's too pretty not to use.

I've mentioned before, my sweet angel of a niece, Scarlett Rose who was heaven sent to my family differently-abled. She has down syndrome, and is a heart baby. At only 4 years of age, Scarlett has had open heart surgery two times, her most recent surgery was only 2 months ago to the day, in January of 2015. My little angel has been through so much, but she's the strongest, most loving little girl, you will ever meet.

When I saw the opportunity to test out some teething jewelry, I knew this would be PERFECT for Scarlett. Scarlett is a chewer. She will chew on anything she can get her hands on, so we have to watch her carefully, and make sure there isn't anything she can reach for that she can choke on. One of her favorite things to chew on, is her shirts, or sweaters. This can prove expensive, as she ruins so many of her tops.

I was selected to review the teething jewelry free, in exchange for my honest review, and I was extremely excited for it. I knew my niece would be too. The jewelry package comes in a necklace/bangle set. It comes in 4 colors, Black, Magenta, Navy Blue, and Turquoise. They are made of 100% food grade silicone, which is BPA free, FDA approved. The silicone is also PVC free, latex, rubber, and lead free.

I love that the necklace can be worn by both mom, and child, and can still make a great fashion statement for either one. This is definetly a great alternative to teething toys, and other items used to help babies with their teething.
