Priority Chef Kitchen Knife Sharpener Review

There isn't much I can say about a knife sharpener, in regards to what it does, and how it does it. It's simple. Run your knives ragged, dull them out, toss them out, OR, get yourself an awesome Knife Sharpener like the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener.

I had been in the market for a great sharpener, because my husband was getting tired of using the one we had which was less than a year old. It never really worked, so our knives were on the verge of being replaced themselves. Knife sets are expensive, at least good quality knives are, so we had been putting off the splurge just because we didn't want to shell out so much, AGAIN.

When I was given the opportunity to review this product, I wasn't expecting it to do much. My package arrived right before I was going to make dinner. Perfect timing. I asked my husband to try it out, before I started the dreaded task of cutting up raw chicken. He doesn't like me sharpening knives myself, because he "thinks" I'm a klutz. I'm careful, I really am, but I love that he takes care of me.

My husband opened up the box, and tried it out right away. It's lightweight construction, was a bit off putting, but that feeling was short lived once he saw how well built the sharpener is. It's very sturdy, and the materials are worthy of our pricey knives. I had lost all hope for my concave birds beak knives, they were trash in my eyes. That is until my husband started sharpening half the knives in our drawer. I was finally able to use my birds beak knife again, and couldn't have been more happy, as it's the best one for me to cut raw chicken with.

Over all, this product is absolutely one of the best on the market, can't forget to mention how inexpensive it is. The construction and the quality are top notch, and more than worth the price it's listed for.

The Priority Chef Knife Sharpener is available on Amazon.com for $14.77, and ships free with Amazon Prime. Take my advice, it's worth every penny and more. Click the link below and check out the reviews.

I received this product free, in exchange for my review. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

Kitchen Supreme Vegetable Spiralizer Review

CUCUMBERS!!! My favorite snack of all time. I slice them, dice them, and even just bite into them... Until now. After being selected to review the Kitchen Supreme Vegetable Spiralizer, for free in exchange for my honest review, I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for. My cucumbers!

My Veggie Spiralizer arrived at the perfect time. I had just returned from the grocery store, where I had bought 3 cucumbers, and knew exactly what I was going to do with them. CUCUMBER NOODLES!!!

The small box contains the handheld vegetable spiralizer, which comes in a small drawstring pouch. It includes a Safety Cap to help in turning your vegetables, and a Flexible cleaning brush, to make cleaning your vegetable spiralizer quick and easy.

The Spiralizer has two sturdy Japanese stainless steel razor sharp blades, that are guaranteed not to rust or lose their sharpness. And thanks to its ergonomic design, it's as easy as pulling the spiralizer out of it's bag, and pushing your vegetables through.

I had no problems at all getting it to shred my cucumber into noodles. The one small issue I did see arise, was that the very ends of the cucumber were a bit difficult to push through and shred. Then end cap that helps push it down, doesn't go in completely, making the ends of your vegetable hard to shred. Not a problem for me though, because I just went ahead and ate my cucumber ends anyway. Be careful not to try and shove it through yourself without the cap. You can get your fingers or nails nicked by the blades if you're not careful. Other than that, this thing worked smoothly, and nicely. Long, straight, beautiful noodles.

I absolutely loved how nicely it shredded my cucumber. I couldn't decide if I wanted them with some dressing, alone, or with some chili spice. I opted for the Tajin Chili powder, and some lemon juice, and dug in with my fork. I'll tell you one thing, as much as I love my cucumbers, I've never completely finished an entire one, until now. This is my new favorite way to snack, and I can not wait to push some zucchini and carrots through. My next attempt will be some potatoes, I just want to see if I can get them to spiralize too.

If you're looking for the quickest and easiest way to get make some veggie noodles, then this tool right here is exactly what you need. No need to put anything together to get it going. No need for cords, and power outlets, to plug it in, it's ready to go out of the box. This retails on Amazon.com for $15.84. It has a rating of almost 5 stars, which I personally think it deserves more. My Kitchen Supreme Vegetable Spiralizer will be getting a ton of use in my house.
