Kuuk Silicone Oven Mitts Review

So I received a great pair of Silicone Oven Mitts a while back. They were wonderful, easy to use, and so easy to wash. I LOVED them, that is until I was holding a pan straight from the oven for too long, and the heat from the pan started to transfer onto my hands. It BURNED... I never used the gloves again. They sit in a drawer collecting dust.

I was given the chance to try these particular Silicone Mitts, and let me tell you, they are so awesome. Once I saw that the inside was lined in fabric, I knew I would love them. I put them to use right away. They are easy to move my hands around in, easy to grip all pots, pans, and oven racks, etc. They aren't as bulky as they seem, they're not so stiff, that you can't grip anything, they're just... well... perfect.

Great grip for heavy, hot pots. 

As you can see from the photos above, we cooked a traditional Mexican soup called Menudo... The stainless steel pot tends to get really hot, even the handles get hot. Making a giant pot of soup can also get heavy, so I decided to put my mittens to the test, and they were golden. I gripped the pot without any burning of the hands,and moved it around easily. The grip on these is great so the heavy pot wasn't slipping. I just can not rave enough about these mittens. They work extremely well, and are far better because of the cotton lining on the inside. 

These mittens are made of FDA approved BPA free silicone. It has a cotton and polyester lining that helps protect against heat, and burns. The textured pattern with circles, and spokes offers a wonderful grip on all pots and pans. These truly are the perfect addition to any kitchen.
