Influenster I Do VoxBox

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to review the contents of the Influenster I Do VoxBox. The Box was full of amazing products, most of which I absolutely loved. I'll get into more detail below about each of the products provided.

1. SkinnyGirl Nutrition Bar: My box came with 1 SkinnyGirl Nutrition Bar in Dark Chocolate Almond with Coconut. It was so delicious, and I found myself wanting more. It was definitely satisfying, but the taste was so amazing, that I totally wished I had another bar. The one down side was that this bar does have quite a bit of sugar. And, they're quite pricey. They retail for $4.99 for a box of 4.

2. Sahale Snacks: The second snack featured in my I Do VoxBox was a bag of Sahale Snacks in Berry Macaroon Flavor. It was a mix of Almonds, Cashews, Blue Berries, and Coconut flakes. The mixture was sweet, and lightly salted, and just an all around amazing trail mix of sorts. I can definitely see why this product would be awesome for weddings. No mess, easy to share, and very delicious. They retail for just under $2.00.

3. URGENT Rx Ache & Pain Relief To-Go: This product was a one time use packed of pain reliever in powder form. I've used powder form pain relievers before, but this one was like no other. The Urgent Rx Brand flavors their powders, to give you a more pleasant taste when you take it, making them delicious, and effective. You can find this product online on Drugstore.com where they retail for about $7.00 for a box of 10. They also come in several different varieties, ranging form heartburn relief, to allergy relief and beyond. Definitely something for everyone.

4. Neutrogena Hand Cream: This product is nothing short of amazing, it's fragrance free, which is perfect for anyone who might be sensitive to scented products. I loved this simply because it was so light, and didn't require you to put on a whole bunch of product to coat your hands. A little goes a long way. It soaks in immediately, and doesn't leave a greasy film on your hands, nor does it feel caked on either. A+ for Neutrogena.

5. Indeed Labs Nanoblur: Now this product... Ahhh, I wish I could say I loved it. I mean, I was so looking forward to trying it out, and I just couldn't get it to work properly for me. I followed instructions, and applied as recommended, and it just didn't work. You are not to rub it in, more like pat it on, but even doing so over my foundation, it seemed to move my foundation around, leaving blotchy marks on my face. I didn't not like the way it looked, it definitely did not leave my face looking even.

6. Cover Girl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation: Runny, that's what this product is, surprisingly though. I LOVED it. It was easy to apply, and gave a smooth and even coverage. I suggest applying it with a beauty blender, or makeup sponge rather than a makeup brush to get the best effect. I loved the luminous feel it gave my face. It had a beautiful shimmer, and just gave off nice flecks in the sunlight. It's lightweight, and moisturizing. Perfect for the South Texas summers.

7. Covergirl Outlast Long wear Lipstick: Oh this lipstick is a beauty. I absolutely loved the color. It's easy to take it from a subtle everyday look, by dabbing it on your lips, to a bold evening look, when you slap that lipstick on. I received Number 935 Into the Fuchsia, and the color was bright and bold. It's gorgeous. I would really recommend this. Be sure to keep it on you though, because even thought it says long-wear, it does tend to wear off after a while.

Overall, this box was amazing. I am ever so grateful to Influenster, and all the featured brands for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing VoxBox. Here's to future boxes for you and I. I hope the next box is in the near future for us all.

I received these products free, from Influenster, for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own.

Indeed Labs Nanoblur Influenster Review

I received the Indeed Nanoblur courtesy of Indeed Labs as a part of my Influenster I Do Vox Box. I was so excited to try this product, and put it to use immediately after receiving. The Nanoblur is an instant corrector of the appearance of skin aging, including the look of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged porse, and crows feet. It's a lightweight serum like formula, with almost no scent. I was definitely looking forward to trying this out.

This product can be used with or without makeup. So I first tried it with makeup. You are to pat it gently over liquid foundation or under pressed/loose powder. I patted it, not rubbed into my skin, and just could not get it to settle on my skin properly. It almost felt like I needed to use the entire tube to cover my face. It did not feel like it spread over my skin evenly, nor did it feel like I had put anything on my skin. Not only this, but placing this over my foundation only moved my foundation around, making it look entirely too blotchy, and like a 5 year old put the makeup on my face.

The following day, I tried it without makeup. All you have to do is apply over moisturized skin, and again, as it did with makeup, it didn't feel right. It was an odd formula, that seemed to be blotchy on my face. It just didn't feel comfortable.

I essentially gave up on this product, and decided it wasn't for me. Maybe I'm using it wrong, or shouldn't expect to use it on my entire face. But if it's an instant corrector, used to make your skin look more even, wouldn't you use it on your entire face?

I don't know, it definitely was the disappointment of the box in my opinion. The Indeed Labs Nanoblur is available on Ulta.com for $19.99. It is a 4 out of 5 star product, so it must be good for others.
