With the horrible weather we'd been having in Texas, it was hard to get this thing out for a test run. Over the 4th of July weekend, we were so fortunate to have such amazing weather. Although the ground was still muddy, and pretty wet, there were parts of our yard that were just fine to bring out our picnic blanket.

The blanket is pretty neat. It's really large (60 in. x 80 in.) and is super lightweight. It's weighs only slightly over a pound. The material is 100% polar fleece, which makes it feel so soft, and really nice against your skin. The backing of the blanket is made of a waterproof cushion, which was perfect for us, because of the wet ground we had. The cushioned backing made for a nice comfortable sit, which was enjoyed by 4 little ones, and 3 adults.  The blanket also features a nice Velcro strip that fastens the blanket together making it easy to carry around. And speaking of carrying, it does have a handle at the top of the blanket, which makes it easy to transport.

I absolutely love keeping this in the black of my truck at ALL times. You never know when you want to make a spontaneous trip to the park, or to the beach. It does happen for us from time to time. Especially quick beach trips. I know that once this weather completely dries up, it'll make for the perfect summer accessory. Super Bright 11 LED Hat Clip Light Review

There are just too many times, when I'm left needing an extra hand or two, to help me finish even the simplest of tasks. Especially during the night, or in a dark room, having an extra hand to hold up a light for you, is always something I wish I had, until now.

I was selected to review the Super Bright 11 LED Hat Clip Light, for free in exchange for my honest review. I was so excited to try this out, because 1. I had never even heard of a hat clip, and 2. the fact that I didn't need an extra hand, made the thought of a hat clip so neat. I received this clip quite quickly, it shipped in 2 days free, with Amazon Prime. My husband and I quickly put the hat clip to use, installing 4 batteries into the compartment, attaching it to a ball cap, and clicking the button to turn on.

There are 11 LED lights, that light up super brightly, and cast a wide light that projects at a great distance.  The LED light has 2 clips, that slide right onto your cap. The one minor issue I did have with this was that the 4 batteries made the light kinda of heavy, and caused my ball cap to tilt forward with the extra weight. Other than that, it worked very well. The construction could be a bit stronger it is all plastic and at one point, I thought I had almost broke the slide off lid that covers the battery compartment. The plastic does make it as light weight as possible, considering the batteries add a lot of weight to the over-all product. But as for it's functionality, it's convenience, and it's super handy use, this light is pretty neat. I can see my husband and I using this so much around the house, and outside. Living out in the country, this thing will get a ton of use outdoors.

Power Tek Flash Premium Headlamp Review

So it goes without saying, that we humans, at times, find ourselves in situations where we could only hope and dream of a quick and easy fix. An extra set of hands, an easier way to get through even some of the simplest tasks. Call me dramatic, but something so simple as a Headlamp has been such a HUGE help in getting through even some of the smallest tasks around my house.

The Power Tek Flash Premium Headlamp came to me, on a day, where I was trying to get through a small order of hand crafted, home made polymer clay hair bow centers. That's a mouthful. They're small, and can be intricate at times, and the very minimal lighting in my work space makes it quite difficult to get all the tiny details to look perfect.

I looked for batteries to install, adjusted the strap size and went straight to finish my clay pieces. The light was absolutely amazing. 168 Lumens with 3 power settings; High, Medium, and Low made it easy to adjust the light I was projecting onto my crafts. This headlamp also has red flashing/non flashing LED lights for emergency situations.

The construction of this headlamp, is top notch. It's strong, sturdy, and the adjustable strap is made of very high quality lightweight materials that won't lose it's elasticity over time and won't tear. I can see many people getting use out of this headlamp. Camping, Fishing, Crafting, Biking, Hiking, Running, Walking, Boating, or any time you find yourself needing two hands to get a job done, then this headlamp will definitely be your best friend.

The frequent power outages, and the super dark nights out at the ranch make receiving this product free, in exchange for my honest review, one heck of a sweet deal.

Of all people to be reviewing this product, I find that I'm a perfect candidate. It's extremely hard to look off into the distance at the ranch and see if there is any wildlife lurking. It's hard to see what is rustling in the grass, which can often be opossum, and even rattle snakes. NOT FUN!

Which when I saw it, I thought, this thing can not be that great, but I was so wrong. It's amazing. This has been in my possession, no more than a week, and I can not count how many times I've reached for it to help me out with something. This is THAT product, I never knew I needed, but have always wanted. Does that make sense? This product was sent to me for review purposes, free of charge, and let me tell you, that it's been one of the best little blessings I now proudly own.

The Power Tek Fire Talon Multi-Tool Pocket Knife, is heavy duty, well constructed, and extremely strong. You will immediately notice the weight it has to it. This however, does not affect the performance of the muti-tool. Opening up each of the tools is tricky at first, but they lightly loosen just enough for your to open them up easily after a few uses.

The knife features two LED lights on both ends of the knife that light up brightly, not enough to project at a distance, but enough to shine on to a small task you are performing. The knife is a large 3 inch stainless steal self-locking blade, that cuts through the thickest of materials. My husband was able to cut a thick plastic cup for me.

The multi-tool also has spring-loaded pliers, that are just as strong as the best pliers in my hubby's tool chest, just as the Philips and the flat head screw drivers on the multi-tool are. Along with all these awesome tools, are wire strippers, a can opener, and a set of scissors, that are sharp enough to cut through a lot things.

Honestly, everything on this multi-tool works just as well, as the name brand products my hubsand owns. It has a sleek, and modern design, with rubber grips that make holding on to this tool very easy. One minor draw back is the difficulty I had pulling out can opener/screw driver. I know that after a bit of use it'll get easier to pull it out, but everything else worked like a charm. It also comes with a very sturdy carrying case, you can slide into your belt to carry it around. Hunting, Camping, Fishing, this thing is for you.

If you're in the market for an all in one tool, for yourself, or your spouse, (Valentine's Day is right around the corner) You should definitely consider this one.
