I received the Superior Bright X5 All Purpose Flashlight Free, in exchange for my honest review. I LOVE having flashlights handy in every room of my house, because we have very frequent power outages. Not only this, but I do live in an area, where Hurricanes can and have happened. So emergency kits are a definite must.
Having a flashlight such as the Superior Bright X5 definitely comes in handy. It's an all in one, multi-purpose flashlight with a magnet at the base that attaches to any metal surface, allowing you to go hands free, when lighting your work space. It's very bright flashlight has 35 Lumens, that light up any space very brightly allowing you to see pretty clearly in any dark situations. The STD light bar has 72 Lumens, that lit up my entire bedroom, brightly allowing me to get around my room like normal. The red LED lights are perfect if you find yourself in any emergency situation. If you're on the side of the road, the magnetic base allows you to attach the flashlight to the side of your car, to signal other drivers that you are pulled over.
My experience so far has been extremely positive. The flashlight is very light weight, weighing in at only 7.2 ounces. The one small issue I had with the flashlight was in the construction. The plastic cover over the light bar, had surface scratches, which didn't at all effect the brightness or the overall function of the light. Also, when I opened the package my flashlight came in, the button and the... stick? for lack of a better word, that presses into the flashlight, were floating around inside the package, so I had to assemble that part of the flashlight. The bubble wrap around the flashlight was bunched into one end of the box instead of wrapped around the flashlight. Once I got everything situated, it all worked well from there, I just felt as if the flashlight I received was either used, or didn't get a proper inspection prior to packaging.
Other than that, like I said, the flashlight works really well. It's lightweight, but sturdy, and is one of the brightest flashlights I own. This is going to be perfect for emergency kits, or just to have in my car. The Flashlight retails on Amazon for $24.99, and ships free with Amazon Prime.
