I was sent a Bru Joy Milk frother for testing purposes. I was actually very excited to receive it, as I was looking for a quicker and easier way to make mine and my hubby's coffee. I finally received my frother, and decided to put it to the test immediately. I quickly grabbed my ingredients and placed some batteries in my frother to get it going.
Now, I know this is a milk frother, not a coffee frother, but let me tell you, using the milk frother to mix my coffee was so much easier than pour the ingredients in the blender, and making a bigger mess. This reduced the mess by so much. No cleaning the blending cup, the blades, and the lid. This is just a portable hand held mixer, which totally cut down prep time.
My husband is set in his ways, he wanted to mix his coffee in his blender, like most tutorials show. But after using the frother when he was standing next to me, he has since ditched his blender (his nutribullet) for the frother. He agrees, it's easier, quicker, more convenient, and a lot less messy.
As far as frothing milk, and other liquids, this thing works like a charm. It's been so helpful around the house, and just seems like something I never knew I needed. We're loving it. It's kid friendly, and hubby friendly too. What more could you want? It's also very well constructed, made from stainless steel, from top to bottom. It runs on 2 AA batteries (not included) to run 19,000 RPM motor.
One minor thing to mention. Do not use it in a shallow cup or mug. Unless you want to be cleaning and mopping up liquid. Take it from me. Mixing regular coffee in a coffee mug does not end well.
