Procella Travel Umbrella

It's funny how the weather works down here in South Texas... I was on the hunt for a great umbrella for a while, because the rainy weather we were having was so horrible that homes were being flooded, cars stranded, and bridges overcome with water. Not only this but my parents home suffered a tremendous amount of rain damage, that's how horrible the rain was down here.

Fast Forward 2 months or so... We're now early August. The sun is horrid, but the rain has stopped. Of course it stops when I finally get my hands on one of the most amazing umbrella's I've ever owned. I was already impressed by the packaging of the umbrella. It was in a nice soft to the touch box, with a clear window on top that allowed you to see the umbrella itself. I slid the lid off the box, and saw one of the most well constructed, toughest looking umbrellas.

As I said previously, there hasn't been any rain. BUT! The sun out here is brutal and often calls for an umbrella, so it's definitely getting some great use. The black canopy, is quite dark, and thick, that it works so great for blocking out the sunlight.

The Procella Travel Umbrella features a thick 42" double black canopy, that holds it's own during even the strongest winds or rains. The top canopy layer, is about half the size of the rest of the umbrella. It allows for the winds to travel between the two canopy's, which helps to keep it from flipping inside out, like other umbrellas tend to do during rough storms. I never realized how handy a feature like this could be, considering here in South Texas where I live, we're notorious for strong tropical storm force winds on any given day. This was a huge bonus for me personally.

The rod in the center of the Procella Umbrella is made of fiber glass and comes in a hexagonal shape rather than your traditional round shape. This reduces it's chances for bending during a bad storm. With the press of a button, it's easy to extend your umbrella for use. A second press of the button brings your umbrella back down, and eliminates the chances of you or anyone using the Procella Umbrella getting pinched.

The strong Velcro strap used to secure the canopy for storage, is strong, it's thick, and doesn't have any signs of being sewn on cheaply. It's on there pretty good, and holds your huge umbrella in place nicely. The umbrella itself is lightweight, and very compact. It makes it easy to carry around with you anywhere, so that you do not find yourself in the middle of an unexpected storm. I love taking it out to my nephews football practice because as I mentioned before, the sun out here is brutal. We're topping a heat index of low 100's, so an umbrella this nice is a must.

The Procella Umbrella is available on Amazon.com. I can not tell you enough just how amazing it is. I get asked about it quite often, and I'm always happy to point people in the right direction to purchase. So if you're looking for a nice umbrella, one that will stand up to the elements, and hold its own. Look no further than the Procella Umbrella. Click the link below to get yours today.
