A good pair of socks is hard to come by. Most are so thin, and move around in your shoes making wearing them so uncomfortable. I'm not a fan of wearing socks, to be honest with you, but I still wear them, because I think they preserve the insides of your shoes, and keep them from getting smelly overtime, especially if you live an active lifestyle like I do.

The Titan Elite Quarter High Basketball Socks were sent to me for review. I decided to get a pair that would suit my husband rather than myself, so that he could give me his thoughts on the product. He is after all, a bit too honest at times. A bit harsh too. I was skeptical about having them sent to specify his needs, but figured honesty was the best policy here.

After receiving the socks. I decided to sneak one on for myself. They were too big on me of course, because, well, they weren't for me. LOL. I tried one on, as did he, and we immediately felt the elastic above our ankles, it wasn't tight, it was just THERE, and comfortable. Does that make sense? You definitely felt the pressure of the elastic without it being tight, and that feeling went all the way down to your toes.

The fit is fantastic, There is absolutely no sliding off, and into your shoes. Your shoes don't "eat your socks" as we used to say when we were little. They stay in place so comfortably, and it just makes for an awesome fit.

A few things my husband pointed out, were as follows: 

The socks had so much cushion, that he didn't feel friction between the sock and shoe when he walked. This has always been a pet peeve of both of ours, especially down here in South Texas, because it feels like there's heat coming from between your sock and shoe. It's so uncomfortable, but not with these socks. 

The cushion at the ball of your feel is extremely comfortable too. I think that's where a lot of that friction I mentioned above comes from. That cushion made walking a long distance much easier, according to my husband.

Since he's on his feet a lot for work. He says, that there wasn't as much sweat as with other socks. He said there wasn't necessarily any sweat at all, but he could still feel that his feet were rather warm. He chalked this up to the socks being so thick, and very well padded.

My husband also mentioned that they felt seamless at the toes. I haven't quite inspected them yet to see if there isn't a seam there, but that's another HUGE pet peeve of ours, is feeling the seam at the toes. I often wear my socks inside out because of this. This would be a total win for me, and I'm honestly feeling a bit cheated for not getting the socks for myself. 

The final thing he did mention was, that he was very ready to take the socks off as soon as he walked in the door. He said even though the socks were not tight, they were definitely not something he would want to wear for extended periods of time. He said, these were socks that he'd wear to take a walk, or a jog. Or just on a casual day out. He said that his feet didn't really feel as tired or as achy as they usually do, and because of that, they're a total win for us.

I was so excited to be chosen to review a product such as the ImiKas Electric pencil Sharpener. I have a little one who's been drawing since she was a year old. She's 12 now, and her art is phenomenal. I'm not just saying that as her mom, but because she's truly talented.

I never once stopped to think about how much an electric sharpener would be beneficial to her drawing. She was always asking me to purchase sharpeners for her, and I never thought it was because she was constantly needing to sharpen her pencils. I feel terrible now. So when I had the chance to try the ImiKas electric pencil sharpener, I was overly excited. I knew this would be something my girl would love to try, and shes been SO happy with it.

The sharpener is high quality electric AND battery operated. You can plug in the USB cord into the AC adaptor, into your computer or any other USB out power source. If you don't have an outlet available, not a problem, you can also use batteries to power up your electric sharpener.

The ImiKas Electric Pencil Sharpener  has 3 different settings. Blut, Medium, and Sharp. This is so perfect for my girl, who often does shading in her drawings, which for her, requires a more blunt tip. If your shavings cover is removed, the sharpener knows not to operate, or will stop, if it senses that the cover isn't placed on the sharpener. It is light weight, compact, and a bit more quiet than other electric shapeners I've seen and used. 

This is the perfect sharpener for any school, or office setting. We're so fortunate to have been selected to review this product. My girl and I are going to get a ton of use out of this. Sacko Insulated Lunch Bag Review

I've often mentioned the importance of having a great bag to carry your lunch in. Especially in an office setting, where the atmosphere is quite professional. You don't want to carry a plastic bag, mismatched tupperware or anything of the sort. You want to keep it all nice and neat.

There are many great products on the market to help you keep it all looking professional, at least to keep it all looking as neat as possible. I was recently selected to review the Sacko Insulated Lunch bag. A lunch bag with a sleek look, and functional design. I selected the black lunch bag and couldn't be more happier with the way it looks.

The bag is a standard size lunch bag but with plenty of room. It has two mesh pockets on both sides of the bag, which can hold large drinks. The mesh pockets are actually pretty deep, which keeps me confident, that my drinks will not slip and fall out. I can not tell you how annoying having shallow drink pockets are. The front of the bag features another zippered pouch, which I think is large enough to hold a sandwich or two. I placed a few hand wipes, some gum, and travel medicine. Perfect to conceal smaller items. The front of that pouch, has a small open pocket as well. Great feature for anything extra you might need to carry around in there.

The large compartment was exactly, that... LARGE. It's a great sized lunch bag that can hold just about anything. I have never fully filled the inside. The insulation is also really good, it definitely kept my food cold. Another great feature is the white interior. It's so easy to wipe clean, and allows you to see any spills that may occur. 

Overall, the Sacko Insulated Lunch Bag completely functional. The space it has for anything you need to pack, is awesome, and you can not beat the insulation. It's great. Velocity Boards Retro Cruiser 22" Skateboard Review

My 12 year old daughter has recently taken an interest in skate boards, and sports of that nature. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the X-Games were held here in Texas, and she showed interest in attending. Unfortunately with graduation season upon us, ceremonies and celebrations put a halt on attending the festivities up north.

I was give the opportunity to test a Velocity Board 22" Retro Cruiser Skateboard. I was a bit skittish at first, and wondered if it would be a good idea to go ahead and accept the board for my girl to try. I want to protect her from everything, and everyone. So I wasn't sure if this was my best idea. I went ahead and gave in. I mean, I can't keep her in a bubble forever... as much as I wish I could.

The board arrived middle of the week. I asked her to open the box herself, and see if it was something she wanted to try out. Her eyes immediately widened, and I saw the excitement in her face. I knew instantly that this wasn't a bad idea after all.

The board we received is white, with black wheels. I wasn't sure this was a good color for a girl, but in all honestly, it was beautiful. It's unisex, so it's perfect for males or females. I took a closer look at the board. I wanted to make sure everything was on properly. All screws were in tight, the wheels were on properly, etc. etc. (Crazy Mama) I must say, the board is beautifully crafted. It features a waffle pattern deck, which gives a great grip on the shoes. I knew she wouldn't be sliding off or slipping. The deck measures approximately 22x6x4 in a banana shape design. The skate board includes aluminum trucks, fast ABEC-7 Bearings, and high quality wheels and bushings.

As the mom of a precious girl, who wants to do all I can to protect her, I feel that this board is more than likely the best way for us as beginners to go. I feel confident in it's construction. I feel confident that she's safe, and I feel confident in her skills, or those she's soon to develop. I know she'll do well, and I'll be there to encourage her and her new found passion of skate boarding. She's all set with knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. This is something new for us, so we're taking all precautions before she sets out for longer skating strides.

Salad To Go Container Serving Cup (Set of 2) Review

I am your typical last minute busy woman, who packs a lunch too late and has to toss my stuff in mix matched tupperware that I find hidden in my cabinets. This of course tends to look completely unprofessional, and can prove to be quite embarassing.

The Salad-To-Go Serving Containers make taking lunch to work with me, such a hassle free experience. They come in a 2 pack, and both have a strong sturdy lid, an attached plastic fork, and a small container to fill with your dressing. If you have fruit, you can drop a few spoons of yogurt to dip your fruit in too, why not take both? 

The containers are made of recyclable material, and are BPA free. They're so easy to clean up whether you decide to hand wash, or place them in the dishwasher. (They're dishwasher safe.) All materials that make up the container are a strong hard plastic. The lid pops on and stays on through transit. The fork is stronger than a regular plastic forks you buy at stores or those that come with your fast food orders. Bottom Line, the fork is going to last, granted you don't lose it.

The one thing I would suggest though is that you keep the container standing up right, because the dressing cup tends to seep it's contents. It doesn't cause a mess, it just gets the sides of your small container a bit wet. This has happened only once to me, but that's because I learned to keep my container standing up in my lunch bag, and not just toss it in my car with the rest of my bags.

This container is just such a convenience. It makes packing lunch so much easier. I toss my ingredients in it, and get going. I love it. No more embarrassing mismatched tupperware containers.
