Titan Elite Quarter High Basketball Socks Review

A good pair of socks is hard to come by. Most are so thin, and move around in your shoes making wearing them so uncomfortable. I'm not a fan of wearing socks, to be honest with you, but I still wear them, because I think they preserve the insides of your shoes, and keep them from getting smelly overtime, especially if you live an active lifestyle like I do.

The Titan Elite Quarter High Basketball Socks were sent to me for review. I decided to get a pair that would suit my husband rather than myself, so that he could give me his thoughts on the product. He is after all, a bit too honest at times. A bit harsh too. I was skeptical about having them sent to specify his needs, but figured honesty was the best policy here.

After receiving the socks. I decided to sneak one on for myself. They were too big on me of course, because, well, they weren't for me. LOL. I tried one on, as did he, and we immediately felt the elastic above our ankles, it wasn't tight, it was just THERE, and comfortable. Does that make sense? You definitely felt the pressure of the elastic without it being tight, and that feeling went all the way down to your toes.

The fit is fantastic, There is absolutely no sliding off, and into your shoes. Your shoes don't "eat your socks" as we used to say when we were little. They stay in place so comfortably, and it just makes for an awesome fit.

A few things my husband pointed out, were as follows: 

The socks had so much cushion, that he didn't feel friction between the sock and shoe when he walked. This has always been a pet peeve of both of ours, especially down here in South Texas, because it feels like there's heat coming from between your sock and shoe. It's so uncomfortable, but not with these socks. 

The cushion at the ball of your feel is extremely comfortable too. I think that's where a lot of that friction I mentioned above comes from. That cushion made walking a long distance much easier, according to my husband.

Since he's on his feet a lot for work. He says, that there wasn't as much sweat as with other socks. He said there wasn't necessarily any sweat at all, but he could still feel that his feet were rather warm. He chalked this up to the socks being so thick, and very well padded.

My husband also mentioned that they felt seamless at the toes. I haven't quite inspected them yet to see if there isn't a seam there, but that's another HUGE pet peeve of ours, is feeling the seam at the toes. I often wear my socks inside out because of this. This would be a total win for me, and I'm honestly feeling a bit cheated for not getting the socks for myself. 

The final thing he did mention was, that he was very ready to take the socks off as soon as he walked in the door. He said even though the socks were not tight, they were definitely not something he would want to wear for extended periods of time. He said, these were socks that he'd wear to take a walk, or a jog. Or just on a casual day out. He said that his feet didn't really feel as tired or as achy as they usually do, and because of that, they're a total win for us.
