I never once stopped to think about how much an electric sharpener would be beneficial to her drawing. She was always asking me to purchase sharpeners for her, and I never thought it was because she was constantly needing to sharpen her pencils. I feel terrible now. The sharpener is high quality electric AND battery operated. You can plug in the USB cord into the AC adaptor, into your computer or any other USB out power source. If you don't have an outlet available, not a problem, you can also use batteries to power up your electric sharpener.
The ImiKas Electric Pencil Sharpener has 3 different settings. Blut, Medium, and Sharp. This is so perfect for my girl, who often does shading in her drawings, which for her, requires a more blunt tip. If your shavings cover is removed, the sharpener knows not to operate, or will stop, if it senses that the cover isn't placed on the sharpener. It is light weight, compact, and a bit more quiet than other electric shapeners I've seen and used.
This is the perfect sharpener for any school, or office setting. We're so fortunate to have been selected to review this product. My girl and I are going to get a ton of use out of this.
